How to stop disconnect from Internet

    Hi all :-) W2K SP4

    I recently installed the W2K on a new hard drive and all is working well,
    except that, when the machine has been sitting idle for a while, when I go
    to access a newsgroup I get an error dialog box that says an error has
    occurred. It is the same type of box you get when you have not properly
    setup your server reference in an account for a group and it can't find any
    groups or that server.

    However, when I restart the computer, the connection is good again and no
    error messages. I was told that I need to disable the disconnect or some
    such for the ethernet so that it would not keep disconnecting when idle for
    a while, but, they could not remember how to do that.

    I am totally new to W2K and all it's variables, and don't want to go
    venturing too much on my own just yet, thus, I would truly appreciate it if
    someone could tell me where I should look to find the place for this
    adjustment, or if there is another means to do so.
