I have a three pc network, one Vista, two 2000. The priniter is hooked up
to
the Vista pc via USB. I have printer sharing on, but it says password
required. When I try to add the printer to the 2000 pc's I get access
denied
error.

Setting up sharing in Vista, it never asked to set a password for the
other
pc's to access the printer.

Seeing that it's the Vista machine that denies access to the Win2000 PC,
you're probably better off posting your question in a Vista newsgroup.
