Internet access with router

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I have setup a win2k server network with clients mainly on win2k and a
couple on winxp. The clients have fixed ip addresses and look for a
dns server. For a long time only one client has had internet access
using a usb broadband modem. However, I recently tried to install a
router and although I could communicate with it across the network, I
could not get internet access. Eventually, after speaking to my isp,
BT, they gave me 2 dns server addresses to try which gave internet
access, but stopped access to the rest of the network from that PC.

What should I do?!
