The problem is: My routine Windows 2000 boot up was taking about 3-4
mintues with NO problem.

Today i made a big mistake by installing Visual Studio 6. I installed
and after reboot, my Windows 2000 did not opened and hanged at
"starting windows" then hanged at "Account password prompt".

The error message is: "The system cannot log you on now because the
domain is not available".

What should i do?

You need to tell us if your system is connected to a Windows
domain (which is usually the case in an Office environment) or
if it is (and has always been) a stand-alone PC.
