I have a network with three pc's one 2000, other two XP. The two XP's seeand
share files fine, but neither are seeing the win 2000 and it is not seeing
them.
You need to supply a lot more information before anyone
can assist you. Some diagnostics might useful. Do this on
one of the WinXP PCs and also on the Win2000 PC:
- Click Start / Run / cmd {OK}
- Type these commands:
echo %ComputerName% > c:\test.txt {Enter}
ver >> c:\test.txt {Enter}
ipconfig /all >> c:\test.txt {Enter}
notepad c:\test.txt {Enter}
Paste the contents of these two files into your reply.
.
