Ping Requests

Hello dear all,

Is there a way to block or close my PC from Ping requests from the
Internet?? Im not running any kind of Firewall, Win2000 with SP4 in a LAN
enviroment. Could this be done thru registry perhaps?? any way i could
perform this task without installing any Firewall??
