Hi there,
I have a new Dell Poweredge 2950, Microsoft windows storage server 2003
R2, standard edition X64.
It is part of an NT4 domain. For whatever reason when it tries to connect to
a master browser to get the servers/computers list it opens up to 5,000
sockets/connections like TCPIP 3 way handshake which I looked with
netstat -a command.
Does this server and software does not work well with NT4 domains, is there
is a setting I am missing or is the operating system corrupt?
I am thinking of reinstalling network card drivers with basic functionality
since I had TCPOE(TCP over Ethernet) installed at some point.
Any suggestions to try would be appreciated.
