I can't find anything wrong with the HPDJ, but also cannot get rid of the warning. That doesn't bother me for the time being because it works OK, and doesn't nag me.

But I would like to get rid of the Ethernet because I don't need it, since I have only a 26.4 dialup connection. And if I uninstall the driver, the next time I boot I get a message to reinstall the Ethernet.

A friend told me to disable it in the BIOS. I have a KT6 Delta MS-6590 (v2.X)
ATX Mainboard with an American Megatrends v07.00T 04/02/01 BIOS, but cannot find anything in the manual regarding the disabling of Ethernet or the LAN.

This may be a trivial thing but I do not like to be nagged, especially by a machine - even if it is smarter than I am.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
