Sound like DNS problem.
Is your server Group Server or domain server?
If Domain server and the stations appoints to ISP's DNS the session can
be loose. For domain environtment the station should appoint to DNS
server, and this will resolve for all of them.
With Group server there is no DNS problem.

If you go to the properties for your SMTP Virtual Server and then click on Delivery> Advanced, in the Fully-qualified domain name field make sure this matches the name used on your MX record. ...
