ICS problem

I have two IBM compatible PC running Windows 2000.
I originally had the host computer setup with a dialup internet connection
which I had successfully shared with the client PC.
Recently we switched to adsl broadband with a one port USB/ethernet hub.
I have ICS enabled for the new connection in "Network & Dialup Connections".
However the client computer cannot access the connection.
Can anyone point me in the direction of likely causes for this failure?
