Network settings
how does one setup different network connections in XP? My friend is having
me work on his system and his setup is with AOHell and comcast. I have dsl.
I thought it would be a simple matter of using IE and setting new
connections inside IE Options/Connections/Connect to the network via
broadband and then have auto detect setting. Select Apply for that
configuration and it still wont allow a connection.
When i goto the Control Panel to check Network Settings I now have 4
options; the one i just setup, MSN Explorer, AOL, and LAN. all of which have
a LOCK symbol associated with them. Since i have the new config as my DSL it
does sho it is the current active option.
Launching IE the default is routed to show "Cannot find server"
i am having a 'failure to launch' ha ha
