Hi,
We have problems sharing files between a home PC (XP home) and a business
laptop (w2k).
The latter is member of a win2k domain while at the office, but of course
not connected to that network at home.
Within the home network, the PC and the laptop can ping themselves (even by
name). But the network cannot be browsed, nor does the "map network drive"
possibility work.
Is this a "feature" of the win2k domain, or is there a solution to get file
sharing to work in this situation?
TIA for any suggestions,
--
