How to move a DHCP database from a computer that is running Windows NT
Server 4.0, Windows 2000, or Windows Server 2003 to a computer that is
running Windows Server 2003

if you are referring to transferring the fsmo roles, it doesn't matter what
order you do that in-before or after moving your dhcp over
just remember to do it before removing old server

I am going to replace the main (first) DC in the domain. It is running 2k.
I
have installed the new DC and it is running well. I am preparing to move
the
5 major roles to the new DC, two of which I have to seize because they
belong
to a server that isn't even in the picture. How do I transfer the DHCP
configuration to the new DC? What order should I transfer the roles and
DHCP?
I have installed the DHCP service on the new DC but it still is not
confugured with a scope.
