My WIN2000 is connected to a router that is suppossed to assign a dynamic ip
of range 192.168.2.XXX. Somethimes my WIN2000 machine picks up an ip like
169.x.x.x. When this happens the computer can not access the Internet or
coonect to othe PCs in the LAN. I don't know where the computer gets this
IP. What can I do to prevent the computer from picking up this 169.x.x.x IP
address?

Thanks in advance
