Re: Trust domain via VPN

I have a DNS server and a WINS Server on both my servers.
Each servers has two primary zone on DNS (forward and reverse)  for solve the internal name, and two external secondary zone (forward and reverse) for solve the name of the second domain (REPLICA).
WINS on Server 1 replica WINS on Server 2
WINS on Server 2 replica WINS on Server 1

When i use the ping command, with the unc name or with the ip address, from the first domain to the second one everything work fine, but when i try to browse the network i don't see the remote domain.  If i search one of the remote pc, i find it but when i try to connect it ask me the user name and the password.

Please help!!!
Thanks Enrico

I don't think it is domain name issue. More likely it is name resolution issue. How do you setup the DNS and do you have WINS servers?

Hi guys, i have a problem.
I need to know how to create a trust relationship between two domain
connected by a VPN tunnel.
I've also this problem: when i browse the network i don't find the other
domain.

First domain name is "SYSTEM.IT" and the other one is "SYSTEM.SEDUE.IT".  I
believe that my problem is due to that the domain's name are the same.
Is it right?

I believe that someone could help me, and i apologize for my horrible
english (i'm italian)
Thanks Enrico
