Have a Win2k Pro pc that needs to connect to a shared printer and a shared
folder - both are on differnent pc's. One is a Win2k Pro pc, the other a
Win2003 Svr pc. When connecting to any shared resource from this pc, I can
connect with valid username and password but the "Remember Password" checkbox
at the username & password prompt is not there. So when I restart the pc I
have to input details again because it has not saved the password.
Other Win2k pc's connect to same resources fine and they have the "Remember
Password" option shown when setting up the mapped network drive etc...
User accounts on both pc's are correct.
The issue is that the "Remember Password" option is not shown when
connecting to a resource on another pc.
