I haven't tried to ping each connection. I can access the web from both computers though. I am not sure how to ping each computer from each other. I just recently hard MS Windows XP has problems in general with networking. Not sure if it is true.

I am not sure why you need two routers, but can you ping echo others?

    Heres my setup:
Windows 2000 Pro (1 Comp on main D-Link Router)
Windows XP Home (2nd Comp on a second D-Link Router)

Both computers are running Zone Alarm and I manually added
    acceptable IP
ranges of 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.15 on both machines
Both Computers are set up to belong to WORKGROUP

I enabled the printer to be shared on the Windows 2000 Pro computer and
    rebooted it.
I then set up the networking wizard on my windows xp home computer.
    Rebooted
    it.

When I go to network places on either computer I cannot see any
    shares from
either one. On the windows xp home one I can only see what the
    windows xp
home computer was set up to share and on the windows 2000 pro I can
    only see
the printer I set up to share.

    Any help is appreciated.
