Invisible root replica

Hi all,

Posted this a while ago in windowsnt.dfs but no responses so I just copied
it here.

I am having some difficulties with the management console when viewing my
(only) dfs root and the replica's. First let me describe my topology. There
are three sites with one DC each, one site also has a member server that
acts as an application terminal server. The DC's are Win2k SP4 and the TS
isWin2K3 SP1, all servers are configured to be root replica (domain root).

When I'm in the management console (on any server) I can only see the three
DC's in the list. When I try to add the TS as an replica, the wizards states
that it can't create something that already exists. When I'm logged on to a
workstation and looking to the dfs properties of the root, I only see the
three DC's.

The files in the shared folder on the TS (\\TS\dfs\), where the root should
be placed, are all up-to-date so look to be working properly. But if I look
in the shared folder via local access it is empty.

Does anyone have any clue what is going on here?

Thanks in Advance,

Marcel
