Have failover capabilityk utilizing dual NICs. One is a MassTech "MassNAS"
(actually an OEMd NAS from Xtore), and a Snap Server. Both have two
Ethernet ports, and both ports have cables which run to different network
switches on the same network. The configuration software in each of them
have "failover" modes which will switch traffic from one NIC to the second
one if needed. Each NAS is seen by a single IP address (both NICs
automatically use the same address, with only one active at any
point-in-time).
