Hi there,

I used SFC /SCANNOW to check my operating system files and it indicated that
there was some files that were not correct and prompted for an insert from
the CD to correct these "unregistered" files.

I did that, and it went through the procedure and appeared to correct the
files and completed the SFC /SCANNOW.

Then I rebooted and did the SFC /SCANNOW to double check, and sure enough
it came up again indicating that that there was some files that were not
correct and prompted for an insert from the CD.

If it went through it the first check, it should have corrected it properly
and when I would go to check it a second time there should have been no
errors.

So, there is a problem, in that my files are not correct, and SFC "pretends"
to fix them.....??

Any ideas??

Thanks,

Gordon
