Hi, just finished install of windows 2000 server and tried to connect to
existing home network.
The network is like this:
Win2kSrv ->Hub <-Win2kProf
The hub is connected to internet, all PCs are installed with NetBEUI and
TCP/IP and have the same workgroup name, all PCs can directly connect to
internet through the hub.
Now the problems are:
1) the win2kProf can see computer name of Win2kSrv, but if try to
connect/open, a dialog will popup asking user name and password, but no
matter what user name and password tried, including the admin's password, it
just refused to connect.
2) cannot open Win2kSrv's workgroup on Win2kSrv, the error is:
"Workgroup is not accessible, the network path was not found."
Anyone can help how can I connect these PCs?
