There seems to be a need to get some of the basic issues sorted out.
- What is the IP address and subnet mask for each PC?
- Do you use fixed addresses or do you use DHCP?
- If you use DHCP, where exactly is your DHCP server?
- What account do you use on each machine when logging on?
- Are the passwords synchronised?
- Do you use a firewall on any of the machines (e.g. one that
is bundled with a virus scanner, or a stand-alone firewall
  such as ZoneAlarm)?
