Wireless network losing internet at random intervals

    I'm not even sure I can explain this one! Be gentle with me?

    I have a DLink 604+ ADSL wifi modem router. All OK on a wired LAN connection
    to my PC and by wireless to two other PCs. A third has always been trouble,
    losing the connection from time to time and resisting attempts to restore
    it.

    I have spent HOURS and HOURS on that one machine, and I can takes no more.
    The present situation is that it wouldn't recognise squat today, so I
    fiddled around and have got it going. All internet and mail working, but not
    showing up in my wired PC's network neighbourhood. Never mind that. And
    after about half an hour just sitting there, it lost all contact with the
    internet. Clicking on an IE or OE page gets the white screen of 'can't find
    the page' eg no connection. Rebooting usually solves until the next time.
    But not always. That's when I start fiddling around and mess it up!

    My contention is... if it's set up and working, how can it just stop, and
    then resist every attempt to get it going again!

    I have tried with WEP security and without, and I'm not sure it's a wifi
    problem at all. I'm getting 70-80% signal strength and have no problems with
    one of the other two machines that only gets 40-50% upstairs. This PC has
    always had this problem.

    I use DLink DWL120 transceivers all round, with the current drivers.

    I've reloaded everything on the dam' thing from scratch, and am now at my
    wits' end.

    Anyone got any ideas please?!
