get directory size without permission

I have a set of directories that are secured to the userid. No other
profile has any permission to these directories except for the user
that owns the directory. I need to get the size of all of the
directories as we are doing some planning for a migration. Is there
any way to get the size of a directory if you don't have permission to
see the directory?
