1. Build the new "network" just as if you were simply adding a new subnet.
2. Yes, you will need to "route" between them.
3. Yes, you will have endless amounts of trouble the way you are attempting
it (if it even works at all)
4. Move the machines over to the new network, while the routing will cover
the ones that haven't been moved yet.
5. When there are no machines left in the old network, eliminate it.
A. Multiple IP#s on same NIC = All IP#s must be in same subnet
B. Single IP# on multiple NICs = Each NIC must be in a different subnet
C. Only special "teaming Nics" should be run with multiple NICs in the same
subnet.
