You can configure your Win2k Server as a VPN server - the RRAS wizard will
walk you through this. See:

Most routers provide for VPN pass through or you can forward the necessary
ports to your server's IP address - see your router's documentation.
However, you do not need VPN in order to make a PCAnywhere connection. Just
configure the client to use the router's Internet IP and configure the
router to map the PCAnywhere port to the IP address of the host machine.
