Paul,
You simply go into the properties ( of My Computer ) and in the Computer
Name tab you will see the name of the computer as well as the workgroup or
domain name to which it belongs. At the bottom you will see a Change...
button. Simply click on this and change the computer name. You will
probably need to enter a domain user account and password and domain name
that has the ability to do this.
This should present no problems to you whatsoever.
