Verify that the server service is running on that computer. Use services.msc in the
run box to bring up the services management console. You will need to be logged on as
an administrator. Also look in Event Viewer to see if there any error messages that
may indicate the problem. If it still does not work try booting into safe mode with
networking to try. Keep in mind that safe mode will bypass any software firewall. If
it works in safe mode you have a conflict with a startup application or service.
Ipconfig /all needs to show that you have an IP address configured. --- Steve
