Problem is when you go from a domain to a workgroup. On a domain your
account does not exist on your laptop and once you moved to a workgroup you
lost your account. This is actually a very common problem as people do not
understand the implications of doing this. Your only option is to take it
back to the domain at work or wherever the domain was and have it joined
back to the domain by loggin on with the built in administrator account. You
could also search Google for password change tools to reset the local
adminsitrator account. You will find lots. There are also many posted to
these newsgroups too.
