VPN re-assigns static routes

I've got some weirdness going on with a VPN server. I have a list of static
routes going to remote sites that are getting changed to the Internal
Routing Interfaces IP address of 172.30.10.127(see example below). This
doesnt happen for every route but a majority are affected. This appears to
be happening every couple of days occurring at different times. I've set the
VPN to use my private address to obtain DNS info etc. The Private nic has no
default gateway assigned so I'm using static routes to tell the server and
users how to get to the remote sites. I've tried setting permanent routes on
the server but the server still dumps the static routes gateway (172.30.0.3)
in favor of the internal routing interfaces IP. Any ideas i'm kicking
myself on this one. Thanks-Rob

Example:
Before Change:
subnet: 172.30.0.0 mask: 255.255.0.0 Gateway: 172.30.0.3

After Change
subnet 172.30.0.0 mask 255.255.0.0 Gateway: 172.30.10.127
