    There is no Enable/Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP option on the WINS tab in the
    Advanced TCP/IP Settings dialog box of a dial-up or VPN connection as there
    is on a standard network connection in W2k.
    You should create VPN connection and bind either Microsoft Client or File
    and Printer Sharing to it if you want to get NetBIOS.
    OTOH, running NetBIOS across the Net is not so bright idea.
