I have a problem where certain computers cannot ping the Domain
Controller or the Gateway but can ping other servers. I originally
thought the problem was with just Windows XP but it has happened to
Windows 98 machines. We are using Nortel Baystack 450 switches (firm
ware ver 4.1.06).

Has anyone seen anything like this and been able to solve it?

Thanks.
