Before calling in the specialist, get some of the basic stuff
out of the way:
- Turn off your internal firewalls, especially those bundled
  with your virus scanner.
- Force all network adapters to 10 MBits/s half duplex.
- Start a Command Prompt on each machine, run the
  following command, then post the contents of each
  c:\test.txt in your reply:
  ipconfig /all > c:\test.txt
