Hi I have a home network setup between my desktop and
laptop using a wired router. I am using windows 2000 on
both computers. I am able to share files, printers and
internet(cable high speed). The problem I have is that
the laptop loses the internet connection after one to two
hours and I have to reboot the laptop to be able to use
internet again. The sharing of files and printers is never
lost , only the internet. The desktop never loses the
connection. I have tried restting the router, changing
the wire, changing ports and even the lan card on the
laptop. I need help to trouble shoot. Thanks
