I can see two situations that might cause this sort of behaviour:

1) You've got machines with duplicate SIDs, although I'm not sure how you
managed that unless you are imaging them without using SYSPREP.

2) You've got multiple DC's and they aren't replicating properly. Try using
dcdiag and netdiag to check that AD is okay.
