1. Shut the machine down.
2. Go to a different machine
3. Ping the problem IP# to verify that something is actually using it.
4. Using the "problem" IP#, type NBTSTAT -a <problem IP#>
5. It should return the machine's name, domain membership, and the currently
or last logged on user.
6. If there is no machine and this is a "false positive", then find the IP#
listed in both DNS and WINS and delete those entries. The Entries will be
re-created when you start the "problem" machine back up and connect.
