    I know the default workgroup name is different on the two OS's. Prior to
XP and, I believe ME, MS used "WORKGROUP" then switched to "MSHOME" (the
last may not be exact, doesn't matter though). The point is they have to
match or they are on different networks, simular to having different IP
subnet masks. To get started check properties on My Computer-Network
Identification or in Control Panels -System -Network Identification.
