NetBT error & SNMP error: no NetBT, no MCSTRM

I am continually getting two EVENT errors on my W2k
system, used as a DHCP server: LAN address 192.196.0.2
(192.196.0.1 is my router. The rest of the LAN follows on
192.196.0.xxx.)

 Upon power up:
Error Souce: NetBt Event 4111 (Initialization failed
because the driver device could not be created.)

The events appear to be random, coming as close as 10
minutes to 6 hours apart, nevertheless they happen every
day, whether other W2k systems are up or not.

My loaded and bound Network protocols are:

NetBUI
TCP/IP

My IP protocol properties, General tab is set to get the
IP & DNS address from my ISP. My DHCP for the server is
set to "Enable." The WINS is set to "Enable
LMHOSTS," "Enable TCP/IP."

I know that when other clients are online, they can see
each other over TCP/IP, but the NTB error comes, whether
systems are online or not.

I have unloaded and reloaded the LAN drivers, the TCP/IP
& NetBT protocols and still can't get rid of the error
message.

In "Services," I do not set NetBUI as being started, but
do see "NetBIOS helper" and "simple TCP/IP" as running.

Additionally, I have at the same time, an SNMP error, 7001:

"The MCSTRM service failed to start due to the following
error: The system cannot find the file specified.
error 7001"

I don't know if these are interrelated or what?
And I haven't a clue as to what the "MCSTRM" service is.

I am running McAfee Antivirus--thought it might be one of
theirs, but a search of their site and google turns up
nothing.

Ideas anyone?
Thanks,
Bob
