Are you able to access it remotely? ping, net view, anything?
Can you see it in AD Users and Computers? Have you checked the
event log on your domain controllers to see they have reported
errors related to this machine?

An "in place upgrade" will allow you to reset the administrator's
password without losing the data on the disk. For more information
