I currently have a DNS server, and it has Root Hints and Forwarding Enabled (recursive is NOT disabled).

>From a Client machine I can type in an IP address and go to a web site, but when I type in the Host name (e.g. www.ZD.NET) I am told it is an Unknown host. Why are my host names not being resolved?

I have Windows 2000 service pack 4 installed. I think this is when my problems started.

Thanks for any help.
