Are you logging into a domain or is the W2k server in a workgroup? Make sure there is indeed a user account in either the
domain or the local accounts database on the server that matches that of the user you are attempting to logon with. You may
also want to reset the password just in case. Lastly check the logs on the server to see if it is reporting why the logon failed.
