About 40 of our users (lab) are having trouble saving their
photoshop files to the server (apple xserve w/samba)

They get the Delayed write failure as listed here:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B321733

Their home folders are stored on the Xserve and mounted at
start up to x:\

Normal file saving from Office works, but anything over
5-10 mb, tends to lock the workstation and photoshop up,
until the delayed write error appears.

Checking the event viewer, the error events match the KB
article exactly as well as all the symptoms and indicators.

I even installed photoshop on a Windows 2000 machine, and
made a 30mb file, and saved it with no problem to the
server. Which leads me to think this has something to do
with XP.

Has anyone ever run into anything llike this? Any info
would help out greatly!
