Hi Patrick,

Here are some things to look for and try:

Delete the snmpapi.dll file at %systemroot% directory
Delete the WSNMP32.DLL file in both \WINNT and \WINNT\SYSTEM32 folders
You may want to be sure you have the latest drivers for any printers installed.

Some type of third party file is causing the issue. May be difficult to track down. Make sure
your antivirus is disabled when you try this. Could be an issue with real time monitoring
preventing it from going through.

Hope this helps,
Gary

'--'I tried to install a printer through the network with
'--'the IP address and when I chose a standard TCP port it
'--'gives me an error <cannot load the tcp mib library> and
'--'cannot install the port. I read the Microsfot bulletin
'--'261302 and I went to the registery , search for all the
'--'indicated dll extension (Wsnmp32.dll, Ntprint.dll,
'--'Tcpmib.dll, Mgmtapi.dll, or Snmpapi.dll ), only to find
'--'Ntprint.dll that I deleted but it still cannot create a

'--'clearly, however I, for sure, cannot identified which 3rd
'--'party software monopolizes the printer through the
'--'registery.
'--'Any better guidance?
'--'Thanks
