Each drive is shared automatically, with the drive letter followed by a $
(indicating that the share is 'hidden' from browsing), but only
administrators have access. As described in the other reply, it is best to
make a new share. The "administrative" shares are not a good idea for
day-to-day use. Remember, Windows 2000 is designed for use in a business
network and the shares are there to allow administrators to access the
filesystem remotely for troubleshooting, etc.
