I just installed Office 2004 on a new Mac after removing the test drive
version as directed. Now I can't activate it because the earlier
versions I have are on old computers (Mac and PC) and used floppy disks
for the installations. I have the old product ID numbers. Calling the
Office activation number was useless; it helps only with business
accounts and Office XP. Can anyone suggest a solution?
Hi Carol!
Do you have the ability to copy the old Office folder from your Mac to
the new machine? The file that's storing the serial number should be
located within that folder.
