Without knowing more about your network setup, answering your question
may take a few responses from folks.
Have you verified that your Macs and your server are on the same
network? Do they both share IP addresses where the first three numbers
are the same (e.g. 192.168.0.xxx)? Or are the Mac IP addresses very
different from the server's IP address (192.168.0.xxx compared to
24.128.17.xxx)?
If you could post the first two numbers of the IP addresses you have
this would help in troubleshooting and you won't be disclosing anything
personal or risking security.
Also, how is your wireless device configured? Is it a router or a bridge
on your network?
