Hi Adam!
We are transitioning from MacServeIP to ExtremeZ-IP in our organization
primarily because Microsoft's support of AFP 3.1 is too long in coming
and because MacServeIP support for us has been terrible.
We're happy with EZIP and interacting with it from the server side is
very easy. We aren't going to use SMB because it doesn't support
resource forks when sharing with lower level Mac clients (Mac OS 9 and
earlier). Just be sure you're using the latest version of EZIP and your
servers are also up-to-date with their service packs.
