How to optimize WIN browser based software for Mac Browsers?

Our company develops a browser based software for project management.
The software is buildt on .net with a SQL database. We deliver the
software to our clients on a WIN Server on a 2MB internet connection.
On PCs running WIN or WIN XP the service is pretty fast and stable, bu
we have a "speed" problem when the service is used on Mac OSX, Safari
or FireFox. Anyone have a clue on what we could do to optimize the
performance of our service for our Mac customers?
