Hi Patti!

This should have no effect on either your Mac OS 9 clients connecting or
the Appletalk protocol.

Appletalk is on your servers to allow your Macs to "see" the servers in
the Chooser. It can also be used to let your Macs connect to the server
but they will typically switch to TCP/IP during the connection process
and Appletalk will not be used any further during the connection.

File Services for Macintosh is the service on the servers that allows
them to share files to Macs. They are in no way related to or changed by
changing to native mode.
