I am in the process of putting a server in a small business that has mixed
platforms. Win9x, WinXP, Mac OS9 and X.
I plan to use windows 2000's NTbackup to perform nightly backups to a second
hard drive (for now until the owner springs for an adequate tape drive).
If it becomes necessary to use the backup, will all of the mac file data be
restored as well? I have heard mention of the mac file Resource fork and
data fork both requiring backup to be done properly.
Will NTbackup backup and restore mac files and the * fork information
properly, or should I use a different backup application.

So, the server is ready for an update, we need to get the Library ... and it needs to automatically backup local Mac & XP clients ... we use Symantec Backup Exec on our winders ...
